Matt Lauer & wife welcome 3rd baby

The NBC newsman and his wife, former model Annette Roque, welcomed their third child Tuesday, a boy they've named Thijs (pronounced "Tice"), in honor of his mother's Dutch heritage. Thijs was born at 9:37 a.m. at a New York hospital, weighing in at 7 pounds, 4 ounces, according to Today spokesperson Megan Kopf, who also said that "mom, dad and baby are doing well." Lauer skipped the show Tuesday to be with his missus.The couple are also mom and dad to son Jack Matthew, 5, and daughter Romy, 3.

Donald Trump Jr. and his wife of one year, Vanessa, are expecting their first child, according to People Magazine. The baby, who is due early next summer, will be the first grandchild for real-estate mogul Donald Trump. The new baby's uncle Barron (son of the elder Trump and his wife Melania) is just eight months old. "They'll be more like brothers, or brother and sister," says Vanessa, who wants her baby's sex to be a surprise.

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes in Rome for their wedding

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes arrived at Rome's Ciampino Airport today with their daughter, Suri, nearly 7 months, and Cruise's children, 13-year-old daughter Isabella and 11-year-old son Connor. The family is staying at the posh Hotel Hassler Roma, a five-star hotel located at the top of the Spanish Steps.

Friends of the couple were notified in October to clear their schedules for the weekend of November 16 -19. Holmes's wedding dress and Cruise's tux are being designed by Giorgio Armani.

Congratulations to the soon-to-be newlyweds!
